Turin, 6 June (LaPresse) – Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini have qualified for the women's doubles final at Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam event of the season, currently underway on the clay courts of Paris. The Italian pair, seeded second, swept aside Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider, seeded fourth, in just over an hour, winning 6-0, 6-1, in a repeat of the match that awarded Olympic gold last summer. In the final, Errani and Paolini will face the Kazakh duo Anna Kalinina and Aleksandra Krunic, who came from behind to win 6-7(5) 6-3 7-5 in the other semi-final after a marathon match lasting over two and three-quarter hours against the Norwegian Ulrikke Eikeri and the Japanese Eri Hozumi.
