La Thuile, March 13 (LaPresse) – Federica Brignone takes another important step towards winning the overall Alpine Skiing World Cup. The Italian skier finished third in the Super-G in La Thuile, ahead of her direct rival for the title, Switzerland's Lara Gut-Behrami, who placed fourth. Brignone's lead in the overall standings has now increased to 332 points. Today's race was won by Germany’s Emma Aicher with a time of 57.89 seconds. Italy also celebrates the second place of Sofia Goggia, who finished just 6 hundredths behind Aicher and ahead of Brignone.
