Ukraine, France: ‘Risk of war in Europe never been so high’

(LaPresse) – ‘The risk of war on the European continent, in the European Union, has never been so high, because for almost 15 years the threat has continued to approach us, the front line has continued to approach us.’ French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said this in an interview with France Inter. ‘What we are witnessing today is the awakening of a part of Europeans, who have refused to see the reality of things,’ the Paris diplomacy chief added, commenting on the aftermath of the clash at the White House between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
