Turin, 8 August (LaPresse) – "There is no humanitarian response to the million people we will be transferring. Everything will be complex. I suggest excluding the return of hostages from the objectives of the fighting." This was stated by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir during a cabinet meeting in which he expressed his opposition to Netanyahu's operation to occupy Gaza City.
