Ukraine: Russian drone attack in Kharkiv leaves three dead and 17 wounded

Rome, 18 August (LaPresse) – In Kharkiv, the death toll from a morning drone strike by Russia has risen to three people, including a one-year-old child. Seventeen others were injured. This was reported by Ukrinform, citing Telegram channels of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Kharkiv OVA head Oleg Synegubov. "Unfortunately, the body of another victim killed by an enemy 'Shahed' has been found. In total, three people have died, including a small child," said Terekhov. Earlier, the mayor had reported the death of a one-year-old child. "Doctors are currently assisting another six-year-old girl and a 42-year-old woman. The number of victims from this morning’s attack in Kharkiv continues to rise," Synegubov added. According to Ukrinform, Kharkiv was attacked by 'Shahed' drones this morning, causing fires in the industrial district and reports of deaths and injuries.
