This was posted on X by Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, following the video conference meeting with NATO military leaders.
"I thanked everyone for their always proactive participation in these meetings: we are united, and that unity was truly tangible today, as always.
Regarding Ukraine, we reaffirmed our support. The priority remains a just, credible, and lasting peace," he added.
"Our thoughts," he concluded, "are with the brave Ukrainian brothers and sisters in arms. We commend their tireless courage in defending their homeland."
