Milan, 6 September (LaPresse) – In a message on its Telegram channel, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) warned Gaza City residents to move south to a “humanitarian zone”, attaching a photo. “In light of the expansion of the ground operation in Gaza City and the capture of Hamas strongholds as part of Operation Gideon’s Chariots II”, the IDF announced today the designation of a humanitarian area in Khan Yunis. ‘The humanitarian area includes essential humanitarian infrastructure such as field hospitals, water pipelines and desalination plants, as well as the continuous supply of food, tents, medicines and medical equipment to the area, which will be provided in coordination with COGAT and the international community.’
