Turin, Sept. 13 (LaPresse) – Juventus defeated Inter 4-3 in a thrilling third-round Serie A match in Turin. Kelly put the hosts ahead in the 18th minute with a volley from Bremer’s cross. Calhanoglu equalized around the half-hour mark with a long-range strike, but Yildiz quickly restored Juve’s lead with another shot from distance. In the second half, Inter pressed and Calhanoglu equalized again in the 65th minute, before Marcus Thuram headed them in front in the 78th. Juventus looked to be struggling, but Khephren Thuram scored a header to make it 3-3. Deep into stoppage time, Adzic surprised Sommer with a powerful shot from outside the box, sealing the 4-3 win. Juventus remain perfect on nine points, while Inter are stuck at three.
