Turin, Sept. 18 (LaPresse) – More than 450,000 Palestinians have so far left Gaza City to head south in the Strip. This was stated at a press conference by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, Brigadier General Effie Defrin. It is estimated that about one million Palestinians resided in Gaza City before the IDF launched its large-scale offensive against Hamas in the area. Defrin added that since the start of the offensive on Monday night, “over 1,200 terrorist targets” have been hit.
