Ireland: Dublin Airport Terminal 2 evacuated as a precautionary measure

Rome, Sept. 20 (LaPresse) – Dublin Airport reported on X that Terminal 2 of the airport “was evacuated this morning for security reasons.” “The safety of passengers and staff is our top priority. Anyone at the airport is asked to follow staff to the designated assembly points. Flight operations may be temporarily disrupted,” it warned, urging passengers to check with their airline for any updates. At present, the reason for the alert has not been clarified, nor whether it is in any way connected to the cyberattack that targeted Collins Aerospace, the company that provides check-in and boarding systems to several airlines at airports worldwide.
