Rome, Sept. 21 (LaPresse) – “Closer EU-India cooperation is more essential than ever. That is why we announced a new EU-India strategic agenda, which identifies, among its priorities, the strengthening of mutual defense and security. We intend to conclude a new free trade agreement by the end of 2025, benefiting both European and Indian businesses. Agreements like this strengthen our geopolitical position and put us in a position to achieve our objectives,” said European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen in an interview with Repubblica.
