Rome, Sept. 21 (LaPresse) – At the Volleyball World Championship, Ferdinando De Giorgi’s Italy has secured a place in the quarterfinals. The Azzurri defeated Argentina in straight sets, 25-23, 25-20, 25-22; Argentina had previously eliminated the Olympic champions, France. Italy will face the winner of the match between Finland and Belgium.
