Behind her, Lucia Bronzetti has gained one position and is now number 73, while the other star of the Shanghai success, Elisabetta Cocciaretto, remains stable at number 91. Aryna Sabalenka is still in the lead for the 49th consecutive week (the 57th overall: she had already been in the lead from 11 September to 5 November 2023). the 27-year-old from Minsk, who confirmed her status as queen of New York, sees her lead over Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek, who won the “500” in Seoul, reduced to 2,792 points. On the third step of the podium is the winner of Paris, the American Coco Gauff, now 560 points behind the Polish player.
