Turin, 22 September (LaPresse) – First medal for Italy at the World Cycling Championships currently underway in Rwanda. Federica Venturelli won bronze in the women’s Under-23 time trial over a distance of 22.6 km. Gold went to Britain’s Zoe Backsted, with a time of 30’56‘, ahead of Slovakia’s Viktoria Chladonova, 1’50’ behind, and Italy’s Venturelli, third at 2’11” behind the winner.
