Gaza Strike, Tajani: “Serious Violence Does Not Help Palestine, I Am Working at the UN”

Rome, Sept. 22 (LaPresse) – “It is not through violence, by attacking law enforcement, blocking highways, stations and ports, that one helps the Palestinian civilian population. These are serious actions that also damage the economy, with tourists fleeing,” wrote Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on social media. “This has nothing to do with the right to strike enshrined in Article 40 of the Constitution. Solidarity goes to the law enforcement officers, the innocent targets of this violence. I am in New York to take part in the United Nations General Assembly. Here, the Government is working to help the Palestinian people and to build peace in the Middle East,” he added.
