Milan, Sept. 22 (LaPresse) – In Milan, at 7:05 p.m. the flooding of the Seveso River came to an end: the event had lasted about nine hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The containment basin had gone into operation at 7:50 a.m. and was full by 10:00 a.m., at which point flooding began in the city. Firefighters from the provincial command carried out more than one hundred interventions starting from the early hours of the day.
