Naples, Sept. 23 (LaPresse) – The Champions League match Napoli-Eintracht Frankfurt, scheduled for Tuesday, November 4 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, will be banned for German fans. The Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, has ordered a ban on ticket sales to residents of Frankfurt for all sections of the stadium. The measure was adopted “based on the opinion of the Naples Police Headquarters and in accordance with the decisions of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety on September 20, considering the high-risk profiles for public order and safety associated with the event due to the rivalry between the opposing fan groups, which has already led to serious incidents during the match on March 14, 2023, held in this city,” the Prefecture of Naples noted.
