Cycling World Championships: Pellizzari sidelined by fever, misses the road race

Rome, Sept. 23 (LaPresse) – No World Championships for Giulio Pellizzari. The young Italian rider from Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, who finished sixth in the Vuelta, has been suffering from fever and vomiting in recent days and will have to miss the world event scheduled in Kigali, Rwanda. He will miss the road race on Sunday, September 28. Gianmarco Garofoli will take his place.
