Turin, 24th Mar. (LaPresse) – Russia and the United States still have work to do on many aspects of resolving the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, quoted by Ria Novosti. Previously, US President Donald Trump had stated that Washington, Kiev and Moscow had reached preliminary agreements for the resolution of the conflict. ‘It is about the desire and willingness of the countries to move along the path of a peaceful solution, on this point there really is a common understanding’, said Peskov. ‘As for the technical issues, some of them, in particular a certain aspect, are currently being negotiated in Riyadh between our delegations and the American one’, added the spokesman, answering the question of whether Russia and the United States had actually agreed on the general parameters of the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict or whether Trump's assessment was too optimistic.
