Ukraine, Kremlin: "Russia and US want to find solution"

Moscow, March 24 (LaPresse) – Russia and the United States want to find a solution to the Ukrainian crisis. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, quoted by Ria Novosti. Moscow and Washington still have to work on many aspects related to the resolution of the conflict, Peskov explained. Earlier, US leader Donald Trump said that Washington, Kiev and Moscow had reached preliminary agreements on the resolution of the conflict. "This is about the desire and readiness of the countries to move along the path of a peaceful solution, there really is a common understanding on this," Peskov said. "As for technical issues, on some of them, in particular on a certain aspect, negotiations are taking place in Riyadh today between our delegations and the American one," the spokesman added, answering the question of whether Russia and the United States had indeed agreed on the general parameters of the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict or whether Trump's assessment was too optimistic.
