North Korea, Seoul: ‘Pyongyang has 2,000 kg of highly enriched uranium’

Milan, 25 September (LaPresse) – ‘At this moment, North Korea’s uranium centrifuges are operating in four locations. Currently, intelligence agencies estimate that North Korea’s reserves of highly enriched uranium are over 90% and amount to 2,000 kg.’ This was stated by South Korea’s Unification Minister Chung Dong-young, reiterating that the two Koreas are realistically two countries, but adding that this does not mean a permanent division.
