Milan, 2 October (LaPresse) – Manchester Police Chief Stephen Watson said at a press conference that the two people killed in the attack on the synagogue were members of the Jewish community. Four other people are still in hospital with serious injuries, Watson added. The BBC reported the news. ‘At the time of the attack, there were many worshippers in the synagogue,’ he continued, ‘but thanks to the immediate courage of the security staff and worshippers present, as well as the rapid response of the police, the attacker was prevented from entering.’
