Turin, Oct 4 (LaPresse) – Max Verstappen set the pace in the third and final practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix, placing his Red Bull ahead of all competitors. The Dutch driver clocked 1:30.148, narrowly beating Oscar Piastri’s McLaren by just 17 thousandths of a second. The two Mercedes drivers, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, were 49 and 99 thousandths behind respectively.
Lando Norris was fifth with the second McLaren, 89 thousandths off the top. The rest of the field, including Ferrari, lagged further behind: Lewis Hamilton finished eighth, 0.411 seconds behind Verstappen, while Charles Leclerc was tenth, half a second back (+0.503). Qualifying is scheduled for 3 p.m. local time.
