Mountain: French hiker found dead in the Apuan Alps

Rome, 5 October (LaPresse) – The body of a French hiker was found above the summit of Mount Tambura, in the Apuan Alps, between Massa and Lucca. The search for the man, which involved the Tuscan Alpine and Speleological Rescue Service, the finance police and the helicopter rescue service, began yesterday evening when the man failed to return to the Nello Conti refuge.
