Turin, 8 October. (LaPresse) – Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, and the US president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, have arrived in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, to participate in indirect talks between Israel and Hamas aimed at reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza. This was reported by Axios. Witkoff and Kushner are the architects of Trump’s 20-point plan, which includes, among other conditions, a gradual withdrawal by Israel and the release of all remaining hostages within 72 hours of the start of the truce.
