Moscow: ‘The US must act responsibly regarding the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev’

Turin, 8 October (LaPresse) – Russia calls on the United States to adopt a ‘responsible approach’ regarding the possible delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. This was stated by Moscow’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov. Ria Novosti reports. ‘As you can understand, without software and launchers, the missiles themselves are, so to speak, dummy missiles. Consequently, and this has also been stated at a high level by the Russian side, the hypothetical use of such systems is only possible with the direct involvement of American personnel,’ Ryabkov said. “I hope that those who are pushing Washington to take this decision are well aware of the depth and seriousness of the consequences. Of course, we call on the American leadership and military to approach the entire situation with sobriety, common sense and responsibility,” the deputy minister added.
