Washington, Oct. 9 (LaPresse/AP) – In an interview with Fox News, U.S. President Donald Trump said that Hamas will “probably” begin releasing the hostages on Monday. “This goes beyond Gaza,” Trump said during a phone interview, “it’s about peace in the Middle East.”
Trump also stated that in the future Gaza will be a “peaceful and much safer place” and that the United States will continue to be engaged in ensuring its security and prosperity. “Other countries in the region will contribute to the reconstruction because they possess enormous wealth,” Trump said, adding that the United States will work “to help them achieve success and maintain peace.”
