Milan, Oct. 9 (LaPresse) – “Excellent news comes from the Middle East and the United States; peace is closer than ever. First there will be a ceasefire, the exchange of prisoners, and the release of hostages. Israel will slowly leave Gaza, and then this truce must be defended, and we must move forward with the implementation of the other points of the U.S. plan, which we have always supported. We must thank Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt for the work they have done. From today, we must work to consolidate this truce.”
This is what Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said to Rainews, commenting on the agreement reached between Israel and Hamas.
