Washington (USA), 10 October (LaPresse) – The United States will send 200 military personnel to Israel to support and monitor the ceasefire in Gaza, as part of a team that includes partner nations, non-governmental organisations and private sector actors. This was reported by sources within the US Administration. The US Central Command will establish a “civil-military coordination centre” in Israel to help facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid, as well as logistical and security assistance in the territory devastated by two years of war.
