Gaza, Ben Gvir asks Netanyahu to block the release of several detainees

Tel Aviv, Oct 12 (LaPresse) – Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has asked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to block the release of several Palestinian detainees who were supposed to be freed in the West Bank as part of the Israel-Hamas agreement. According to Ynet, these detainees are residents of the West Bank and are not meant to be expelled, unlike others who are to be transferred to the Gaza Strip or abroad. Ben-Gvir has requested that the decision regarding their expulsion be changed, and the matter is currently under review by the Prime Minister’s office.
