Tel Aviv, Oct. 12 (LaPresse) – “Israel is ready and prepared for the immediate return of all our hostages.”
This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a statement from his office.
The Times of Israel reports this, adding that, according to some sources, the release of the hostages from Gaza could happen as early as this evening.
Meanwhile, an Israeli official told the public broadcaster Kan that the army believes the hostages will be back in Israel when U.S. President Donald Trump lands in the country tomorrow at 9:20 a.m. local time (8:20 a.m. in Italy).
“The IDF has completed the preparations for the release of the hostages and believes all will be freed before Trump’s arrival,” the source said.
