Costa: ‘EU ready to play a role in Gaza’s governance and reconstruction’

Brussels, 13 October (LaPresse) – “We must now ensure that all parties contribute constructively to the implementation of the plan. The EU fully supports its principles and is ready to contribute to the next steps in Gaza’s transitional governance, security and reconstruction. As soon as conditions allow, we will expand our humanitarian aid. The road to peace is still long. But today, the international community is united in our commitment to achieving it.” This was stated by the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, who arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh for the summit on the peace plan for Gaza.
