Madrid (Spain), Oct. 14 (LaPresse) – The Spanish government of Pedro Sanchez has initiated the procedure to reform the Constitution and include the right to abortion in the text. “We are beginning the process that will allow us to protect the right to abortion from attacks by the right and the far right,” said government spokesperson Pilar Alegria at a press conference following the cabinet meeting. “It is a historic day in the defense of women’s rights,” she added.
