Milan, 19 Oct. (LaPresse) – A goal in each half from Holm and Orsolini saw Bologna win 2-0 away at Cagliari in their Serie A matchday 7 fixture. Holm scored in the 31st minute. Three important points for the Rossoblù from Emilia, who temporarily draw level with Milan on 13 points in fourth place, overtaking Como and Juventus. Meanwhile, this is the second defeat in the last three games for the Sardinians, who risk slipping into the relegation zone. In the first half, Cagliari had a goal disallowed early on by Felici due to Adopo being offside and interfering with Ferguson. Bologna responded first with a chance for Bernardeschi, then took the lead thanks to Holm’s goal from Odgaard’s header following a corner kick. Cagliari tried to react but failed to equalise due to Ravaglia’s save on Felici. In the second half, the home side pressed, but Bologna defended well without conceding too much. Italiano’s side sealed the win in the 80th minute when Orsolini doubled the lead with a splendid left-footed shot from outside the box, leaving Caprile with no chance. In the final minutes, a penalty was initially awarded to Bologna but then revoked by VAR for a completely fair challenge between Folorunsho and Holm.
