(LaPresse) – Donald Trump considers the nuclear submarine agreement with Australia and the United Kingdom to be a deterrent against China in the Taiwan Strait, but he does not think ‘we will need it.’ Regarding the possibility of China invading Taiwan, the US president told reporters that ‘China does not want to do that.’ China, Trump added, ‘respects us very much.’
