Rome, 22 October (LaPresse) – An easy victory for Jannik Sinner in the first round of the Erste Bank Open in Vienna, ATP 500 on fast indoor courts (prize money £2,736,875). The South Tyrolean showed himself to be in great form, beating Germany’s Daniel Altmaier in two sets with a score of 6-0, 6-2 in less than an hour. In the round of 16, the number two in the rankings will face Flavio Cobolli (number 22 in the ATP rankings) in an all-Italian derby, the first between the two Italian tennis players.
