Rome, Oct 25 (LaPresse) – Udinese defeated Lecce 3-2 at home in the eighth round of Serie A, returning to victory after more than a month. Lecce started strong and were dangerous in the opening minutes, but the Friulians, after adjusting, took control of the game and went ahead with goals from Karlstrom in the 16th minute and Davis in the 37th, with Atta providing both assists. In the second half, Lecce reduced the deficit with a Berisha free kick in the 59th minute. Near the end, Buksa chipped over Falcone in the 89th minute to seal the win. In the final action, N’Dri scored from outside the box in the 96th minute. Udinese moves up to 12 points in the standings, while Lecce remains at 6.
