Hungary, Budapest criticizes Report program: “Serious mistake”

Milan, Oct. 27 (LaPresse) – “On Italian public television, the debate on the future of Europe is described as a ‘campaign to discredit European institutions.’ We believe this is a serious mistake. The Report program on Rai3 presented international conservative and sovereigntist networks, and the very title reveals the editors’ bias: ‘The sovereigntist offensive against Europe: the Meloni-Trump axis.’” This was written on X by Balazs Orban, political advisor to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. “As part of this alleged network, the report presented the Mcc Budapest (Mathias Corvinus Collegium) and the Polish Instytut Ordo Iuris, whose joint work produced the ‘The Great Reset’ reform proposal. The program framed the document as an attempt to undermine EU integration, even though it is actually a comprehensive political document examining key issues for the Union’s future, in particular how to restore the balance between national sovereignty and institutional centralization in the EU,” adds Balazs Orban.
