Gaza, Al Thani: “Both parties must ensure a ceasefire”

Rome, Oct. 30 (LaPresse) – The Prime Minister of Qatar, who mediated the ceasefire agreement alongside the United States and Egypt, stated that there had been a violation of the ceasefire “by the Palestinian side,” but it is unclear whether Hamas was affiliated with those responsible for the shooting. The fighting was “very disappointing and frustrating for us,” said Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. “We have engaged very intensively with both parties to ensure compliance with the ceasefire.”
