Rome, 30 October (LaPresse) – ‘Israel still has work to do in Gaza.’ This was stated by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the graduation ceremony for cadets at the Bahad 1 officers’ school in the south of the country, as reported by the Times of Israel. ‘If Hamas continues to openly violate the ceasefire, it will suffer powerful attacks like those of two days ago and yesterday,’ warned the prime minister, referring to recent Israeli operations in the Strip. ‘We decide, and we will act whenever necessary to eliminate immediate threats against our forces.’ Netanyahu strongly reiterated: ‘We decide, and we act,’ in response to criticism that restrictions imposed by Washington had curbed Israel’s response to Hamas attacks that caused casualties among IDF soldiers.
