Rome, 31 October (LaPresse) – One year and three months, with a suspended sentence. This is the sentence imposed on MP Emanuele Pozzolo by the Court of Biella in relation to the shooting that took place on New Year’s Eve 2024 in Rosazza, in the province of Biella. The prosecution had requested an eighteen-month sentence, but the judge handed down a lesser sentence. Pozzolo was convicted of illegally carrying a firearm, specifically a North American Arms mini pistol, which he legally owned with a firearms collection licence that did not, however, authorise him to carry it with him. He was acquitted of the charge of possession of expanding ammunition because the offence did not exist.
