Ukraine, Moscow: ‘Attack on Pokrovsk foiled, 11 soldiers killed’

Rome, 1 November (LaPresse) – The Russian Ministry of Defence has stated that Moscow’s military prevented Ukrainian GUR special forces from landing from a helicopter in the Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) area, killing 11 people. The news was reported by Interfax. “A group of GUR special forces was prevented from disembarking from a helicopter in the area about 1 km north-west of the outskirts of the city of Krasnoarmeysk, in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” reads the Defence Ministry statement, “all 11 people who disembarked from the helicopter were killed”.
