Rome, November 7 (LaPresse) – “The tragedy of addictions, as Undersecretary Mantovano just called it, the tragedy of lives destroyed by drugs, and the perverse presence and activity of organized crime, requires a conscious, structured, and constantly updated commitment, a commitment marked by determination. It also requires a collective effort. I would like to link the slogan of this conference, ‘Together we can,’ with the words just spoken by the Prime Minister: ‘No one will be alone on this front.’”
This is what President Sergio Mattarella said during the opening session of the VII National Conference on Addictions, currently taking place in Rome.
