NBA: Golden State wins, Sacramento falls

Rome, 10 November (LaPresse) – On NBA night, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Indiana Pacers 114-83, led by Jimmy Butler III’s 21 points. The Sacramento Kings’ 20 points from Domantas Sabonis were not enough to avoid defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves (144-117), who capitalised on Anthony Edwards’ 26 points. The New York Knicks overwhelmed the Brooklyn Nets 134-98 in the Big Apple derby. Karl-Anthony Towns was the star for the Knicks with 28 points. The Houston Rockets beat the Milwaukee Bucks 122-115, thanks in part to Kevin Durant’s 31 points. The Boston Celtics narrowly defeated the Orlando Magic 111-107. Jaylen Brown’s performance for the Celtics was noteworthy, with 27 points. The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Memphis Grizzlies 114-100 with a superb performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (35 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists). Finally, the Detroit Pistons narrowly beat the Philadelphia 76ers 111-108, despite Tyrese Maxey’s 33 points.
