Milan, 15 Nov. (LaPresse) – Alex Marquez on a Ducati from Team Gresini won the Sprint race at the Valencia Grand Prix, the final round of the MotoGP World Championship season. The Spaniard finished ahead of his compatriot Pedro Acosta on KTM, with Italian Fabio Di Giannantonio on a Ducati from Team Pertamina VR46 in third place. Fifth place went to Marco Bezzecchi on Aprilia, who started from pole position but found himself in difficulty, also being overtaken by another Spaniard, Raul Fernandez on Trackhouse. With this result, however, Bezzecchi secured third place overall in the World Championship behind the two brothers Marc and Alex Marquez. Saturday was a day to forget for the official Ducati team, with Pecco Bagnaia finishing 14th and Nicolò Bulega 16th, never in contention. Finally, Jorge Martin finished last, well behind the rest of the field, on his return after a long injury with his Aprilia.
