Milan, 15 November (LaPresse) – “Unfortunately, this is a short-sighted manoeuvre and one that somehow helps those who are slightly better off; today’s news reports that after announcing a housing plan in September, Giorgia Meloni has included nothing on housing in the budget, but today, with an amendment, Fratelli d’Italia is trying to insert yet another amnesty that is a nod to those who have not respected the rules, thus dealing a blow to those who have always respected them. Why don’t we come up with a major housing plan, which this country has been lacking for 20 years? Why don’t we reinstate the rent fund that supported families who can no longer pay their rent and are at risk of eviction?“. These were the words of PD secretary Elly Schlein on La7’s programme ‘In altre parole”.
