Aurelio De Laurentiis on trial for false accounting

Rome, Nov. 20 (LaPresse) – Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentis has been indicted by the Rome Preliminary Hearing Judge on charges of false accounting for the sale of player Kostas Manolas from Roma in 2019 and alleged fictitious capital gains for the purchase of Victor Osimhen from Lille in 2020. The trial will begin on December 2, 2026. The charges brought by prosecutors Lorenzo Del Giudice and Giorgio Orano relate to the company’s financial statements for 2019, 2020, and 2021. Calcio Napoli and Andrea Chiavelli have also been indicted.
