Rome, Nov. 21 (LaPresse) – “We have just finished the plenary with the acknowledgement, by the Brazilian presidency, of the lack of consensus on the proposal. So there are still many open disputes. We are resuming negotiations.” Thus stated Environment and Energy Security Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin on the sidelines of COP30, the United Nations world summit on climate change currently taking place in Belem, Brazil.
