Ukraine, Costa and von der Leyen speak with Zelensky: “We stand with Kyiv”

Brussels, Nov. 21 (LaPresse) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa spoke with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky. “From day one, Europe has stood by Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. We have worked for a just and sustainable peace with Ukraine and for Ukraine, together with our friends and partners. Today we discussed the current situation and are clear that there should be nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine. As next steps, European leaders will meet tomorrow on the sidelines of the G20 and later in Angola for the EU-African Union meeting,” they wrote in a joint post on X.
