Milan, 22 Nov. (LaPresse) – Spain will face Italy in the 2025 Davis Cup final in Bologna. In the second semi-final, the Iberian team, without Carlo Alcaraz due to injury, beat Alexander Zverev’s Germany 2-1. In the decisive doubles match, the Spanish pair Granollers-Martinez beat the German pair Krawietz-Puetz in three sets with a score of 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. The final against Italy is scheduled for Sunday, with the Azzurri team beating Belgium yesterday. It is a pity that Jannik Sinner and Alcaraz will not be playing, otherwise there would have been yet another chapter in the rivalry between the two strongest players in the world.
